How do I distinguish real hair wigs from synthetic ones

The difference between real hair wigs or synthetic hair is that human hair looks natural and real whereas synthetic hair has an unnatural feel. We can differentiate human and synthetic hair on the basis of some factors such as price, longevity, styling, maintenance and feel.

If we compare them on the basis of styling than synthetic hair can not be styled with the help of hot styling tools whereas real hair wigs can be styled with curling irons or rods. Human hair can be blow-dried but with synthetic hair you cannot even think about doing this. Another advantage of human hair is that it resists heat whereas with synthetic hair you ought to remain extra careful near open ovens or fireplaces etc. Synthetic hair can be potentially very dangerous as they have poor resistance to heat.

The origin of the real hair wigs not the only factor, however. Processing technique is directly related to the strength and quality of the end-product. The chemicals needed, to sanitize and strip away the original color to produce different curl patterns and colors, are very strong and can affect the integrity of the hair depending on method used. When a higher quality of chemicals and a more artful approach to processing is used, the results are higher quality product and thus higher price.

The most appealing aspect to synthetic hair is it can often be worn right out of the box with little or no styling. The fiber used has “memory” for wave, curl and volume which lets hair bounce back into place with minimal effort — the curl pattern is permanently set. It can even hold up in bad weather and can guarantee no drooping or frizzing. It cannot be styled to look many different ways like its real hair wigs counterparts. Only special Heat Friendly synthetic hair is heat styleable to change the curl pattern. Keep in mind, even the heat friendly fiber can be difficult to style as synthetic fiber is more resistant to change.

Synthetic hair is also less durable than real hair wigs. With proper care you can expect synthetic hair wigs and hairpieces to last about 4-6 months – heat friendly synthetic hair 2- 3 months. It is important to follow our care recommendations in order to get the optimal life span from your hair!

This cute tutorial shows you how to use peruvian hair braids in one look to achieve something a little different

For when you feel like a total queen, you’ll need a crown. How about a braided crown? It’s one of those looks that work with a number of peruvian hair lengths, types, and styles, but medium and longer lengths of hair give you the opportunity to really get creative.

Of course, if you really wanted to stand out in the crowd, you could add some rainbow shades to your braided peruvian hair for medium hair. We loved this look so much, we couldn’t help but add it to the list. But what do you think? Would you be brave and go bold?

This cute tutorial shows you how to use peruvian hair braids in one look to achieve something a little different. It’s almost like a low, messy bun, but with some style and sparkle thrown in for good measure. On days when a messy bun just won’t do, rock this cute and braided style, perfect for medium length hair instead.

It’s a cool braid, but it’s not the design of the peruvian hair that we want to bring your attention to. It’s the placement of it. If you’ve ever considered a side-shaved look, or even looked through inspiration images of undercuts, but not gone for it because you’ve not been brave enough, this look gives you a way to almost fake it. Braided, not shaved.

Braids give you a way to go without washing your virgin hair

Braids are great for a hundred and one reasons, but just one fabulous reason is that they give you two styles. You could wear your virgin hair tight for one day, pulled out and loose for the next, and then un-braid the lot and rock the waves on the third day. On the fourth day, you could even get away with not-washing again if you get creative with your updo’s and a bit of dry shampoo!

Of course, everyone knows that healthy virgin hair is hair that isn’t washed every day, and why not give that beauty hack a try for yourself by incorporating these braided hairstyles for medium hair? Greasy roots aren’t a problem for anyone when you give them a quick squirt of dry shampoo and have braids on your team.

If, like us, you have a hard time getting your head and hands around these intricate virgin hair, start with the basics — a regular braid and then a French braid, for example. There are so many tutorials on Youtube, each showing you how to do weird, wonderful and varied braided looks. Give some of them a watch and you’ll find you’ll soon get the hang of those confusing braids in no time at all.

Braids give you a way to go without washing your virgin hair and, if we’re being honest about this, that’s one of the biggest reasons why we love them. This braided design will work much better on hair that isn’t freshly washed. The grease and natural ‘dirt’ on the hair will help it to stick together, meaning less need for pins and products.

2018 Real Hair Wigs Trends

The 2018 Real Hair Wigs trends you need to try next year – as predicted by the experts…

Braids, bright blonde and bobs, 2017 was an experimental year for hair to say the least. While super straight styles, ponytails, and huge hair accessories took the catwalk by storm, neon colours, rainbow dyes and glow in the dark hair colours reigned supreme on the internet as beauty industry insiders and bloggers jumped to be the first try the wackiest 2017 hair trends.

But we’re now looking ahead for more wearable, flattering hairstyles. We want to know: what are the 2018 hair trends you really need to familiarise yourself with? Which haircuts and hair colours will be taking over salons across the UK next year? What should we be looking to try?

Over the summer the Duchess of Cambridge and her ‘cob’ proved that slightly shorter, chic hair is here to stay. And the perm, which recently made a comeback, looks like it’s making a strong case to remain in style as one of many hair trends in 2018 too. But what else? We asked three top hair experts for their predictions on what the hottest 2018 hair trends will be, and this is what they had to say… The good news is that there is something for everyone!

Top haircuts for women 2018

Boyish wonders

Ken O’Rourke, Charles Worthington brand ambassador, predicts that boyish androgyny will have a major moment in 2018.

“One of the hottest real hair wigs trends for 2018 is going to be the bowl cut. Remember Linda Evangelista in the 80’s that kind of boyish androgynous look. It’s great for any age and requires minimum amount of styling time.

Internationally renowned hair stylist Paul Edmonds agrees, “The retro 80s trends has already made a resurgence in fashion and is even more prominent in the hair industry especially in the New Year as a bowl soft layered cut is one to watch.”

Keep it natural

Paul
Edmonds predicts that the all-natural afro is, “a strong contender” to
be the best hairstyle for 2018 – “as long as it isn’t too defined.”

Think Halle Berry on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this year – perfection…

Straight down the line

Don’t fancy embracing curls? Then Edmonds also reveals 2018’s key hairstyling secret – the
straighter the style the better!

“In terms of real hair wigs styles that
will be hot in 2018, long straight hair is set to take the industry by
storm again. A mid to long length blunt cut with gloss and shine. The
LOB will continue to be a popular choice but it has to be a blunt cut on
the edge then textured through the layers to give it some movement so
it can be manipulated and easily styled.”

The likes of Demi Moore
and award-winning actress Sandra Bullock have loved this look for years,
and there’s no better time to take a leaf out of this Oscar winner’s
beauty book…

Pull it back

One of Paul Edmonds’ top tips for keeping ahead of the 2018 hair trends is to put down your hairdryer and pull your air-dried hair back into a ponytail. Not only is this one of the easiest 2018 hair trends to try at home, but it will also help keep your hair healthy and avoid heat damage.

“Ponytails will remain prominent as we transition from AW17 to SS18 seasons” reveals Paul. “Try undone air dried hair pulled back away from the face with accessories for added glamour such hair bows, embellished clips or loose bands.”

At 36, Sienna Miller proved that wearing your hair up in a ponytail, tied with a simple bow, didn’t have to look too ‘school girl’ and could look chic and sophisicated…

Love the trend? Try Paul’s top tip for creating the ultimate evening glamour up-do:

“For maximum Hollywood glamour, my personal favourite is a single wave at the front of the hairline whilst keeping the rest of the hair natural looking for that undone done finish – perfect from daytime to evening time glam.”

Hair colour trends 2018

Sweet treats

Satin smooth chocolate, or gloriously
golden honey – think sweet shades with a healthy shine when it comes to
colour for the top 2018 hair trends.

Charles Worthington brand
ambassador Ken O’Rourke thinks these rich, nourished colours will be a
hit for the year ahead, “Colour wise I’d say chocolate brown and honey
shades will be popular as long as the hair looks healthy with maximum
shine. To me, that’s always a head turner.”

So, think Eva Longoria on the red carpet in Cannes, but with even more depth of colour and chocolatey brown richness…

Blonde ambition

Thinking of changing up your hair colour next year? It seems there’s never been a better time to be blonde. There are so many shades coming through already as top 2018 hair trends.

Expert colourist Jack Howard explains, “Metallic blondes and pastel yellow colour trends are making a breakthrough in 2018. We’re already seeing pops of colour a la Rita Ora debuting her recent coloured soaked fringe which frames the face and is a bit of fun.”

Holly Willoughby had the right idea this summer, taking her golden blonde locks a shade lighter to freshen up her look:

Brand new balayage

Balayage has been a huge trend over the last few years, and it isn’t going anywhere any time soon. However, the much-loved colouring style is evolving in 2018.

“The evolution of balayage moves towards ‘Californian Balayage” expert Colourist at Paul Edmonds Jack Howard explains, “so a much lighter and cooler overall look.”

But it’s not just blondes and lighter remy hair tones who will be having all the fun next year. “Charcoal balayage and charcoal grey is also great on mid-length hair and will be bang on trend as we move into 2018” says Jack.

You don’t need to keep your updos for long human hair wigs sleek and chic

You don’t need to keep your updos for long human hair wigs sleek and chic. I think we’ve pretty much established that, but we just wanted an excuse to show you this adorable, blonde bombshell look. This is right up there in terms of hairstyles we’d like to wear to the next wedding we go to.

If you are on the hunt for new braid human hair wigs for medium hair, we’ve got plenty of pictures to show you. Many people believe that you need long locks in order to make the most intricate and complicated braided styles, but, as we’re about to show you, that’s definitely not the case. And, just in case you thought all braided looks were intricate and complicated, we’re about to show you that’s not the case too. In fact, you might find that some of these looks are actually remarkably simple to recreate …

One thing that braids are great for is showing off every shade you have in your new colored ‘do. This bold, big and braided look, for example, human hair wigs very simple in its creation, but those wonderful tones really bring the look to life. Isn’t that what you’re looking for?

Keep things simple, human hair wigs and double-braided with this pigtail look. Right at the end of the pigtails, rather than letting the tails hang down, pin them around under and over themselves, before pinning them in place. Space buns and messy buns are a really big trend for right now, and this look makes the most of them beautifully.

Take things bigger using a hair bundles hairpiece and you might end up

Of course, one of the benefits of hair bundles for long hair like this one is that you can usually get a couple of day’s wear out of it, and maybe even a couple of different looks if you play your cards right. On day one, keep things nice and sleek and neat. On day two, pull things out slightly to give you a more relaxed and boho feel. On day three, let things loose and enjoy the crinkled waves that the braids give you. A quick spurt of dry shampoo will help any greasy-root problems.

Take things bigger using a hair bundles hairpiece and you might end up with a day-at-the-races ready hairstyle like this one. The more hair you have, and the more you backcomb it, the higher you can go. But … how high is too high exactly?

This updo for long hair is perfect for the blushing bride, hair bundles if she wants to show off a beautiful backpiece on the dress, and the length of her hair, all at the same time. Well, kinda. It’s like the perfect compromise anyway. Add it to your Pinterest wedding board immediately. We’re going to.

For when you want up hair, but down hair bundles, all at the same time, we bring you this wonderful chocolate brown creation. Add some ringlets curls to your hair, tousle them around with your fingers, and then use a couple of grips to keep them slightly pinned back. Elegantly simple — lovely, right?

This one looks body wave all pinned up like that

Ringlets are cute and cool, although we don’t think they’re given enough love these days. This one looks body wave all pinned up like that. That’s what we think anyway. But what did you think?

It’s brilliant and bold, and very cleverly done if you were to ask for our opinion. You’ll be amazed by what you might come up with when you start twisting and twirling your body wave, before pinning it in place. But does this one tick all the right boxes for you?

Throw things up into a tight and sleek bun, and then pull it apart again. Why? Because you’ll end up with a pretty cute look like this one when you do. It’s cute, right? You could even add ribbons and bows, plus a wide range of other body wave accessories if you wanted to make it fit right in for a particular event or occasion.

Add some volume to the roots with backcombing and dry shampoo, and then keep a bit of your body wave to wrap around the base to achieve this fabulous look. The ponytail, although often overlooked, is the great place to start with any updo. You can achieve a wide range of looks from that one base.

CAN COAT YOUR HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS WITH NECESSARY HUMIDITY BLOCKERS

Starting with a head full of gorgeous curls is the way to go. The more curls you add from the beginning, the less likely you are to use a straightener as a crutch for the next few days. These curls will gradually fall, giving way to beautiful waves, but you won’t feel pressured to re-style your human hair extensions with more heat.

You’ll want to create a buffer between your hair and the elements. Whether you’re sweating it out in the gym, partying hard on the dance floor, or you simply live in a humid climate, protection against frizz is key. Using frizz-fighting products that seal your strands, from conditioners to hairsprays to styling creams, can coat your human hair extensions with necessary humidity blockers.

Butter may not be good for your weight loss plan, but it’s one of the best natural and quick fix remedies for your dry human hair extensions. Many women have been talking about how amazing the effect of butter was on their dry hair, so, I had to research it, and it’s true, butter is an amazing therapy for your dry hair. It moisturizes your hair locks, nourishes it, and it is claimed that butter can make it grow longer too.

What if we told you there was a one-stop solution to nearly all your hair color quandaries? Seriously, try us: Want to go darker, but aren’t 100% sure you should make the move? Looking to make that grown-out, summer balayage look pulled-together and fresh for fall? Wish your highlights popped, human hair extensions was silkier, or shined like Demi Moore’s? Pining for a change, but don’t have hours to sit in the chair — or the stack of hundos to pay for it? Looking to take down brassiness, hydrate curls, add dimension, or stamp out tired ombré? Want to steer clear of follicle-thrashing ammonia and bleach? Then, all roads lead to trying a gloss treatment.

We know, it seems too good to be true: How on earth does glossing address so many human hair extensions woes, all without damaging tresses? Maddison Cave, a colorist at Rita Hazan Salon in New York City, explains: “Technically, it’s a demi-permanent (in-between semi- and permanent), which means that it deposits tone into the hair strand, but does not lift or lighten hair color.” What’s more, the formulas are free of bleach and ammonia, so treatments can actually leave hair more conditioned than before and shiny as all get-out.

7 Secrets to Sensational Waves Hair

Let’s face it. We all want enviable glossy tresses. We all want to look like we’ve wafted out of a Herbal Essences advert. But more often than not, our waves hair ends up taking the back seat.

With so many other things going on in our busy lives, it is difficult to give your locks the time and attention they really need. From over washing to brushing waves hair the wrong way to skipping the monthly trim yet again, our hair suffers from a multitude of sins. But despite all this, we can easily break the mould and pave the way to fabulous, gorgeous hair with these simple steps. And what’s more it doesn’t have to be difficult, or particulary time consuming. Implement these good habits bit by bit, and soon enough you will have the beautiful tresses you’ve always dreamed about…so listen up.

Our first tip is to rinse with distilled water. This is especially useful for coloured waves hair as tap water leaves mineral deposits that can dull and damage it. Even if you can’t manage to do this every time you wash your hair, at least aim for twice a week – by the way you shouldn’t be washing more than three times anyway.

So yes, every day CAN be a good hair day, if you simply kick your bad habits and replace them with the good. Flick through our gallery to see how it’s done.
